What inspires you to make and design clothing and jewelry?
Back in 2003, AIU took all the fashion design students on a trip to the New York MET. There I was able to witness and see the tomb of Queen Hatchepsut and all her clothing and jewelry. It was then that my creative juices started to flow. From there I felt like it was my duty to bring the Egyptian style to life in a couture, fashionable, afforable way. Why not embrace MY culture?
This is where the birth of Aanaya Couture began.
I am a designer, poet, performing art dancer, writer, teacher and model all in one. I have many talents that I will share here with you.
Come journey with me as I record my variety of artisitc designs, poems, dance perfomances, photoshoots, etc. This year we plan to share them with you and inspire you to become more creative.
Sign our guestbook to keep up with our events, private shopping parties, henna events, etc.
Thank you for your time.
